As CEO of Dynamic Vision International Inc., Eldonna Lewis Fernandez provides negotiation, leadership, and communication training to corporate clients and small business owners internationally. Her business is built on a 23-year career as a contract specialist in the Air Force, where she negotiated hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of domestic and international contracts. After retiring from the Air Force, Eldonna has been a contracts administrator, negotiator and systems analyst for aerospace companies such as Raytheon, Sparta and Parsons. She worked with Raytheon and the U.S. Navy on the F-18 Radar program, and with Sparta and Parsons on satellite launch programs for the Space and Missile Systems Center at Los Angeles Air Force Base. Currently she is a Procurement Supply Chain Manager for L3 Harris in Anaheim CA. The award-winning speaker and author is one of 88 Toastmaster Accredited Speakers worldwide. Eldonna is the founder of Baskets and Beads Kenya and Dynamic Vision Foundation which helps women in a slum in Kenya eradicate poverty through entrepreneurism.Through the sale of their handcrafted items in the U.S., many of the women have been able to leave prostitution and provide for their families. Eldonna works to find a market for their handcrafted items through wholesaling to stores or selling with her book when she speaks. “Book and a Bead” is changing the lives of the women and their children. Eldonna has written two books: Think Like A Negotiator ~ 50 Ways to Create Win Win Results by Understanding the Pitfalls to Avoid and GoPINK Rules of Engagement: 5 Foundational Principles for Taking Control of the Handlebars of Your Life. Kris Pool is the current District 35 Director (Wisconsin and UP Michigan), a member of three clubs, and holds two club officer roles.
As a three-time DTM, she has given over 400 speeches since joining Toastmasters in April 2005, including 16 icebreaker speeches.
Kris is always prepared to give a hip-pocket speech, and it’s rare that she will repeat a speech.
Jessica’s work focuses on developing a mindset that helps teams communicate effectively and individuals get the attention their ideas deserve through a powerful mix of focused game playing and practical tools.
She is the founder of ¨Laugh!¨, a non-profit that brings relief in the form of laughter and unconventional activities to the people who most need it. As one of only 80 certified Improvisation trainers with the Applied Improvisation Network and a licensed Therapist in Gestalt Psychotherapy, she offers workshops that help people deal with unpredictability, stress and pain in its many forms.
Her 4 years of clown training and work as a hospital clown have led her to understand how humor is a necessity, not a luxury, which is why laughter is a constant in all her workshops.
Jeffery Lehmann, was a former HR Business Partner for Rosecrance Central Illinois., a not-for-profit behavioral health organization in Central Illinois.
He graduated from University of Illinois Urbaba-Champaign with a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing.
He belongs to 2 Toastmasters Clubs, and is currently the VP Education for both the Toast of Champaign Club, and the Fireside Club.He is a Past District 54 Governor (2014-15). A Toastmaster since February of 2008, he has attained the Distinguished Toastmaster designation (DTM) - the highest level of educational achievement in the organization (June of 2012, November of 2015, and February of 2018).
He is also a Rotarian since February of 2008, and belongs to the Rotary Club of Champaign. He has served on the Board of Directors, and the WGRC (World’s Greatest Rotary Club) Finance Board.
Chris Boyk is the Immediate Past District Director for District 54 who started his Toastmasters journey in 2013.
He belongs to 5 different clubs and has visited over 50 clubs in person and virtually, aka he is a Toastmasters slacker.
He owns Boyk Consulting Inc which "Focuson Revenues" while optimizing business processes, sits on the board of Directors for the Disability Resource Center and is the certification chair for TOCICO for Theory of Constraints certifications, really a slacker.
When the 2020 pandemic hit District 54 he was one of the first members who helped move clubs to operate in a virtual world which has led to have extensive experience with Zoom and online meetings.

Kristian Kind has been a member of New Lenox Toastmasters since 2018. Since joining the club, Kristian served as VPPR in 2018-19 and is the current club president. Kristian is currently working on his Persuasive Influence Pathways and recently completed level 4. In his professional life, Kristian has worked in the IT and technical field for the past 20 years. With the help of fellow club members, New Lenox has effectively leveraged technology to conduct hybrid club meetings and create a shared experience for members as we work to overcome the obstacles we face from the pandemic.
Lino is a leader, promoter, influencer, and public speaker. He currently owns and operates Express Signs and Lighting Maintenance, an electronic sign company doing business in the Chicago area. Lino brings over 30 years of expertise in consumer products. He’s honed his skills at companies ranging from Coca-Cola to PepsiCo, and smaller companies like Oberweis Dairy. He has filled many roles from executive leadership to multi-cultural marketing.
Lino recently served as chairman of the NSHMBA Foundation and Vice-Chairman of the Prospanica boards. Lino always takes a leadership role in developing, promoting, and supporting workplace diversity through recruiting, mentoring, and service within diversity networks.
Lino holds an MBA from Oklahoma Christian University and a BS in Marketing from Bradley University. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Leader’s Round Table year-long study at the Bell Leadership Institute. Lino lives in Batavia, IL with his wife and daughter and firmly believes that everyone needs a sign!
Distinguished Toastmaster, Dick Poirier, has been in Toastmasters for more than 26 years. He has served as District Governor (2001-2002) and on the Board of Directors for Toastmasters International (2004-2006). He received the Presidential Citation from Toastmasters International in 2007.
Although retired from his engineering profession, he continues to be active in District 54. He currently is the District Webmaster, Education Chair for the 2021 District Conference, Chief Judge various 2021 speech contests - including the upcoming District Contests. He also serves as the Pathways Support Coordinator for the District. He and his Pathways Support Team make themselves available to assist clubs and members with any Pathways concerns. He also was a Pathways Ambassador when the Pathways program was rolled out to the District.
In his "spare time" Dick also serves s Secretary on the Board of a credit union and and as Treasurer on the Board of his homeowners association.
