A longtime Toastmaster and District 54 Director during the 2012-2013 Toastmasters year passed away on December 11, 2025.  

 A celebration of life will be held for Darrel on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ewing Cultural Center, 48 Sunset Road, Bloomington, IL. 

Artifacts of his Toastmasters achievements will be on display to remind us of the times we shared with him. Light refreshments will be served.

Parking for Ewing Cultural Center is across the street to the south at St. John's Lutheran Church. Cross at the light at the intersection of Emerson and Towanda. Signs will direct you to the entrance.

Those with difficulty walking can be dropped off close to the building by turning in at the Sunset Road gate, off Emerson.
